President Trump?

January 20, 2018, Washington D.C.– With a “Magnificent Concert” held at the doors of the Capitol Hill, a fervent crowd honored President Donald J. Trump at his first anniversary on his first year as leader of the “Free World”.

The show began with a military parade that left the old Post Office Palace– today ‘s the Trump International Hotel- where the Federal Government has rented three floors as the President’s home until the completion of the “Great remodeling” of the White House, located three blocks west.

A year after the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States, Mr. Trump announced that “very soon” he would personally lead the first ever “Nuclear Sale” where friendly nations will have a chance to acquire nuclear weapons; President Trump assured that doing so, he will be able to raise enough resources to cope with the damages generated in the economy due the commercial war he declared against China and Mexico on the very first day of his mandate.

Trump has said that he personally guarantees that the world will never be safer than under his leadership.

In his daily press briefing, President Trump also announced that in the next few days the construction of his “Great Wall” along the 2,000 miles of the southern border will finally begin. He blamed the delay on the $ 650 billion needed to build his
“Great Centers of Extreme Vetting” that will confine over 10 million “illegals” to be deported, which will start as soon the U.S. military complete it’s operations of reasoning in several countries on the Western Hemisphere.

With his usual discursive exuberance, President Trump congratulated himself because according to the last record of the Department of Homeland Security, any person who has entered the country in the last year has declared to profess the religion of Islam. “No Zero Nul”, he said.

14 months after the November 2016 elections, Trump achievement still seems incredible to many. At the moment no survey showed him on the lead. Of course, the “serious” experts neither could perceive. After all, Hillary Clinton closed his campaign in front of a formidable coalition of big unions, people like Warren Buffet, George Soros, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and other mega rich. Also, the vast majority of women, Latinos, African Americans and a majority of the population with university studies.

In addition, the collapse of the Republican candidate in last weeks before the election allowed the major media outlets to present Mr. Trump as a racist, sexist, xenophobic, ignorant candidate, and, above all, a deeply perturbed 70 years old man with the mind set of a 5 year old boy addicted to tantrums.

And yet…

In a result that surprised the world, Donald Trump managed to capitalize on a particularly high electoral participation –around 80 percent– among Caucasian men above 50 years of age that identify themselves as Christians. They, along with an unusually high participation rate (around 50 percent) among white segments with lower levels of education and income and the fact that a significant number of young fans of Bernie Sanders decided not to go to the polls, were the major levers that allowed Trump to become President.

The “rise of the deplorables”, some called it.
